A Mouse In Our Smallholding Garden.

Looked out of our smallholding window this morning.  I saw this brown mouse scurrying about in the garden.       When you move to the countryside, you soon realize that it's not very sensible to leave doors and windows open.  Or else some creature will take up residence.  It also shows me that  the smallholding doesn't just belong to us.

    You don't have to worry about your doors and windows, they find a way in regardless when it's cold outside, I'd buy a cat if you don't like them, or live harmoniously

    Hi Ronnie, I don't mind mice so much, but I can't stand the rat. I think every smallholding gets more than their fair share of them. I don't like using poison and I the Jack Russell is always hunting for them. Thanks.

    Hi John, Yes I follow your blog and you are often telling us what the cat's brought in. I find ducks and hens attract rodents, with all the grain we leave for them.
