A Boat Ride On Dunmanus Bay.

In all my years of visiting and living in West Cork I had never been on Dunmanus Bay. Regular readers will know we live between Bantry Bay and Dunmanus Bay. I have been on Bantry Bay many times but never on Dunmanus Bay.

Any way. A friend I met this year said a few months ago he had a boat and he would take me out on his boat on Dunmanus Bay. Sure enough the other day he kept his word and we went over the hill to Ahakista.

It was like we had gone to Italy or the Mediterranean not Ireland. The weather was glorious:

Celebrity house next to the sea. Who lives in a house like this?

It was a fantastic afternoon here on the Irish Riviera.

Oh what a difference a few days can make. May was the driest May in one hundred and fifty years. I hope Summer didn't arrive early and go pear shaped?

One of Akahista's most famous residents was English man Charles Wells. He actually broke the bank at the Monte Carlo Casino twice. The Croupier had to say: "We haven't got a light" Or when you go in one of those posh restaurants and the waiter presents you with the bill and you say: " Can we have the Marigolds please?"

We could have been in Monte Carlo it was such a beautiful day!

What a pleasant day out. Things always look different when you are on the sea. I hope you were wearing your inflatable armbands. By the way, I see that there is an interesting stone circle at Ahakista. You and the missus should dance there naked as the sun comes up on Sunday morning - the longest day.

Yes it was YP. Life jackets were worn. Stone circles and forts are everywhere here in Ireland. Amazing places full of physic energy. I can dowze for water and I have picked up energy touching these stones. There are theories that people came from the future to build the circles and Egyptian pyramids. The circles have been there before the pyramids and Jesus. The West of England and Scotland also have lots of these circles. Once again we are talking about stone walls our favourite subject.

It looks very calm for the west coast! I love boats of all sizes, but haven't been on the sea for a few years. Daft when I live so close, but it's often the way. Our shops in Wales will be opening on Monday, but the five-mile travel rule will apply for another two weeks. Can you hear us scream?

It was very calm the veg artist. I look at the sea every day but I don't go on it very much. It's very strict travel rules and you must be very frustrated with the lockdown restrictions? Every country seems to have it's own different rules.

It does look lovely there. I am not a very good sailor. I get seasick too easily. Plus, as I can't swim I am also nervous about capsizing/sinking/drowning so, all in all, I tend to avoid boats if possible!

I got diagnosed with HSV, and reading this actually made me feel like crawling and crying like a baby. Happiness is all i see now I never thought that I will be cured from HERPES virus again.
