Gardening In Winter.

Gardeners World is not back on on our television screens until March.  I don't seem to be able to find any other gardening or allotment programmes at  the moment.

Last night we did watched Ground Force on the Home channel.  It was from a long time a go.  Its amazing how the presenters get older and yet gardens are still very much the same.

Perhaps you could make yourself a dream garden like the following clip?

  3. Every time I see those words 'Ground Force', I think back to poor Nelson Mandela; whose garden they buggered-up big time.

  6. I can grow moss. I have 2 full moss lawns! you spring on them as you walk. This is about as good as my garden will get I think. Like Gwil I just have snow now.

  8. I haven't been away so I don't know how I missed two of your recent offerings. Adding my comment to Sol's - moss, you gotta love it if it wont go away.

    1. I am going to a gardening event up here Valerie, to see what can be done. But I dont think much can be. We have lots of trees that need cutting down, but the wind is also a really big factor of what we can do here. The hills around here are covered in forests. We will try and do something with it all. I just dont know what yet.

  9. Hi Valerie. The old gardeners use to line their hanging baskets with moss. I think there is a use for most things. Its just a matter of thinking what to use it for. I shred brambles and compost and mulch with them.
