Feeding Time At The Zoo Or Conservatory Even!

Domino on the right next to Muzz Muss in the middle and Tiger Kitty on the left of the picture.

Domino has been appearing on here since 2012.  So that makes him nearly 11 maybe 12?

Blogs store memories and places and jog the memory when you look back.

Underneath the cats 🐈 is the clothes airer.  The Conservatory soon drys clothes instead of using the Tumble dryer.

It's dry today for a change.

  1. Cute. Certainly looks like feeding time at the zoo. Three well cared for cats

  2. Did I send that comment or did it just disappear? Your cats look well cared for. Lovely photo.
And no rain. Wonderful. Are you still walking?

    1. Yes you did send the comment. I haven't done much walking recently because the blisters on the soles of my feet took ages to heal and it's never stopped raining properly since June. October was the wettest month on record here in Cork.

  4. Domino is a big lad isn't he! Ate all the pies?

    1. Domino is a great Mouser TM. He's quite a character. There's only Muss Muzz who hasn't been neutered. Might let her have a litter. You have got to have cats living in the countryside next to the sea to keep the rodents at bay.

  5. Good job you don't mind fat cats, Dave (except the human variety?)

  6. I like cats and dogs JayCee. Not so keen on the business and politicians who take all the cream.

  7. I suspect that the main attraction at your zoo is the silverback gorilla. He survives on a diet of doner kebabs and Newcastle Brown Ale and doesn't like anybody else using his remote control. His keeper is a patient lady called Jean who has the onerous task of bathing him once a fortnight.

  8. You can't get a good Donna kebab in West Cork YP. They don't like hot and spicy. She's a nice lass. The bath is still half full of coal. Not that it's my birthday to take a bath.

    1. Two weeks to your birthday bath! As the birthday in question will be your 60th there will be "Matey" bubbles, aromatic candles and a big yellow duck called Cliff after your favourite singer. Cliff's greatest hits will play at full volume throughout your bathtime and halfway through a "Deliveroo" fellow on a motorbike will turn up from Cork City with a massive kebab.

    2. "Devil Woman" is my favourite track by Cliff Pilchard. I have seen him live twice at Greenbelt Christian Festival back in the eighties.

  9. Beautiful cats. My Lola is 14 1/2 and the vet always says "I can't believe she is 14" because she is slim and shiny and leaps around like a kitten some days still.

    1. Thanks River. They are great four legged characters and they get on well with the dogs.

  10. Do your mouse police ever sleep?

The one year we were between cats is the only year we saw a mouse in the house. They do have their purpose , don't they?

  11. They do sleep Debby. I think dogs sleep 17 hours a day. Apparently you never get rats where there are mice. I don't know why. The cats keep the field mice at bay when they come into the outhouses for food and warmth in winter.

What's Growing Outside In The Veg Plot.

I said the other day I would take some shots of what's growing outside in the veg plot at the moment. Bim potatoes.  I thought the tube...
