Remember when I showed you how our dogeens ate the couch?
You do. Good. This morning J woke up and I went out doing my plant and vegetables watering duties. She made us a brew and sat down and heard a kitten miaowing like a new born baby:
A new puddy 🐈.Isn't she lovely?
Muzzmuss had curled into a hole in the dog chewed couch and give birth to a beautiful black and white 😸.
There's always summat being born or dying on a smallholding.
Such s lovely surprise, everyone loves a tuxedo cat, Lilly is six months old now and more cat than kitten.
ReplyDeleteMuzzmuss is small yet she's got the bravery of a Jack Russell and would fight a lion Marlene. I have never heard of a tuxedo cat. Great description. We have 7 cats and now a kitten.
ReplyDeleteI know it as a common name for any black and white cat, we have had 3 different tuxedo cats, all very loving.
DeleteThanks. I always thought tuxedo was an American name for a man's coat. We are like the Durrels. Surrounded with animals.
DeleteHow lovely to have a kitten Dave. I can't wait to see it grow.
ReplyDeleteNew life is always wonderful Rachel. Another apprentice Mouser for Domino to train up.
ReplyDeleteIs it unusual to give birth to just one kitten? I assumed there would be more.
ReplyDeleteIt is sweet though isn't it.
Dunno JayCee. She's very small. We must get her neutered. Yes very sweet. I heard the cuckoo three times today.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to your newborn. Name? If she was Greek it would be Muzzaki. LittleMuzz
ReplyDeleteI like that Linda. Muzzaki is her name.😄
ReplyDeleteA beautiful name
DeleteThanks GZ.
DeleteSo pretty for a newborn kitten. She clearly got all the good stuff from her mum. I love kittens - you lucky people.
ReplyDeleteThanks TM. Cats are a necessity living in the countryside.
DeleteJust the one kitten? Perhaps it was an immaculate birth. You could call the new kitten Jesus and follow it. Who knows? One day it could be Pope Felix IV.
ReplyDeleteCat would be a good name YP. Or even Kitten.
ReplyDeleteThat's like calling you Bloke.
DeleteOr a dog: Dog.
ReplyDeleteI would never call you Dog! Doug maybe but not Dog!
DeleteWe use to watch Dog The Bounty Hunter.
ReplyDeleteWhy hunt "Bounty" bars when you can find them in any supermarket or sweet shop?
DeleteTrue. Do you think JayCee is tucking into her airport Toblerones?
