The Osteospermums decided to play out this week. I lost most of them in the cold snowy 2010 winter. One or two survived the frost and I have been propagating them ever since. September is a good month for taking cuttings when it's not too hot and over wintering in a polytunnel or greenhouse.

That's a lovely spot and I agree about the weather. This week should have been the start of the TT races and is usually cool and wet, but the sun is cracking the pavements!
ReplyDeleteAs for plants with sentimental attachments, we have a holly that makes me think of my Dad. His ashes were spread beneath a holly tree across in the UK but we have a similar holly in our garden. I always chat to Dad when I stand beside that tree.

ReplyDeleteI have been suffering from (HERPES) disease for the last four years and had constant pain, especially in my knees.
