Do you like our kitchen/diner? We eat and drink and cook and read and watch the television in here. We have a dining table in the front room. But it's not often we off it. We eat off two coffee tables. It's not very formal but it's comfortable and relaxing.
We often comment that some people would drive around the supermarket if they could. Today I drove around the kitchen with my wheelbarrow!
One of my comedy/singer heroes is Mike Harding. He once said that God invented belly buttons so we can peel potatoes when we are in bed! Think he could have had a point there.
Would you be allowed to take your wheelbarrow into your kitchen?
Very homely Dave, I think I would be skinned alive if a took a wheelbarrow into our kitchen!ReplyDelete
Thanks John. We are not very formal at all. I took the wheelbarrow into the kitchen for a laugh and my other half took the photo with a bemused smile. Thanks!Delete
I love it, you've got a tiled floor so it'll sweep up easily, my blokes brings in buckets of logs and I'm just happy to see the logsReplyDelete
Hi FQ. Yes that's why we tiled most of our bungalow when we built it. We live on a farm so there are always muddy paw and footprints in the smallholding kitchen. So it's much better to use the brush or the mop. I hate hoovers. Think it goes back to Saturday mornings at my parents. I would be lying in bed nursing an hangover and my dad would insist on hoovering the whole house. I seem to be on permanent log duty at the moment. Cutting and barrowing. Thanks!Delete
Oh yes! Like FQ just pleased that someone is bringing the logs in, and chopping them and stacking them.ReplyDelete
Yes Irene. We always have our chores collecting and chainsawing firewood for the solid fuel range. We always have warm radiators unlike gas and oil, hot water and we cook too. Thanks!ReplyDelete
