We watched Rick Wakeman play his Journey To The Centre Of The Earth in the rain last night. He was amazing and so was his band.
Tony Christie and his band was amazing too.
I have limited phone and battery time so I will comment when I get back.
Big Big Train and Richard Thompson are the highlights today.
Hope you're all well? I'm enjoying the beer and cider.😀
Typical british weather then, hope today is a bit drier for you.
ReplyDeleteCloudy today. Thanks Marlene.
DeleteDoes Rick Wakeman still need a good haircut?!
ReplyDeleteIt's not that long these days Sue. Still a brilliant keyboard wizard.
ReplyDeleteI've seen his face before, but I don't recognise his music. I hope the weather clears up for you.
ReplyDeleteYes. Prog Rock brilliance Jules.
DeleteI hope you managed to stay dry. So lucky to be seeing the great man again Dave. Enjoy tonght.
ReplyDeleteTa Rachel. Our old friend Richard Thompson and Big Big Train tonight.
DeletePerfect, the best of music with beer and cider. Sounds like you're OK. Except for the weather
ReplyDeleteYes Linda. Nice day drinking Scrumpy cider.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear your trip has started off so well.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy yourself and keep posting updates.
I will try JayCee. It's great to be back in Blighty.
ReplyDeleteThe main thing is your feet Dave! Blistered Feet were not a heavy rock and roll band from the seventies as far as I recall.
ReplyDeleteTrue YP. So many old and very young faces. Richard Thompson later. I am looking forward to seeing the Marillion tribute band in the Brazenose pub later.
ReplyDeleteRock on!
ReplyDeleteDon't drink anything I wouldn't drink.
ReplyDeleteThe drink in Wetherspoons was very cheap Tasker.
