Red Hot Chilli Peppers Grown In Our Polytunnel.

Here are some red hot chilli peppers that the wife grew from seed this year.  Lidl gave away free seed pots earlier in the year.  It's not  been a fantastic summer but it was still warm enough to grow something new and exotic in the polytunnel.

When I went to Germany in 2017 to The Night Of The Prof Festival in Loreley.  I saw posters for The Red Hot Chilli Pipers?  At first I thought I had read the poster wrong.  I later googled The Red Hot Chilli Pipers.  I love this video from Shrewsbury Flower show featuring the band and the amazing lady dancers.  Enjoy!

  1. I bought a Red Hot Chilly Peppers LP in a cardboard sleeve from a supermarket I think was called Kwiksave donkeys years ago. Unfortunately I no longer have it.

  2. Hi Gwil. I remember buying Abba and Sowaddywaddy albums from Asda. Think they were on Pickwick Records. It wasn't even the real bands singing on the records! I remember Kwik save and Finefare supermarkets. My mum use to bring home amazing exotic things like pizza and crinkle cut chips. Remember Watneys Party Seven and Berni Inns? The seventies were amazing times. Thanks!

    1. I once went to a party with a can of Watneys Party Seven and when it was empty I sneaked out and filled it with my home brew. Nobody noticed the difference!
I remember Pickeick Records. I think I found some on Woolies.

    2. You must do a post about home brewing Gwil. We have tried to brew our own beer but we are never very pleased with the results. I recently sampled some craft beers and our home brew was better. Yes that's the wonder of good old Woolies. I remember their records department.
