A Merry Christmas To Everybody In Blogland.

Nativity crib in Bantry Square.

A 'real'  Christmas tree with baubles and a Christmas Cactus.  All from Lidl.

Domino playing with his toy mouse next to my Black and White whisky ornament.

This is my Christmas Card Blog to you all.  Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a much drier year than 2017.  Don't forget to watch Al Murray the pub landlord tonight for his thoughts on Christmas.  See you in a few days and have a good one!

  3. Wow!

You got yourselves a Christmas tree from the wealthiest man in Germany, the 26th richest man in the whole goddam world (according to Wikipedia).

    Did you . . . gulp . . . um . . . cough . . . actually have to pay . . . I mean . . . ahem . . . gulp again . . . hand over hard brass for it?

This morning a man with a sharpened axe said he'd give me a six-foot tree for €30. I took one look at the gnarled hands holding the axe. Could I refuse?

Seriously now, it's been great fun blogging with you over the last year, and I wish you everything you wish yourselves.

    Buone feste!

    1. Lidl were giving free six packs of toilet rolls in Bantry today Gwil. What they trying to tell us? I think Mr Lidl is so rich because his stuff is so cheap.

We have asked folk to send us Christmas Cards written in pencil so we can rub them out and rewrite them and send them back next year.

It was twelve Euros and two Euros for yon baubles. Our lass unpicked eiderdown (donkey jacket)for cotton to tie yon baubles to us tree. Why I have gone all Yorkshire!

But seriously folks: yes we have the same zany humour. I wish I lived in Bratislava or even Vienna. Have a pint of Bernard or Dunkel Gwil. Happy Christmas.

    1. Happy merry days LA. The two things I miss living in the countryside next to the sea is real ale, public transport and live music. Oh that's three. I was never good at metalwork at school. Look forward to reading your blog and being very jealous about your life on that fabulous Greek Island. Cheers!

  11. Love the baby Christmas tree. Our artificial tree is still upstairs, untouched for several years now so is probably covered in loads of dust. This has made me feel quite guilty, so in my 2018 diary I have put 'sort out Christmas tree' in the middle of the November so I don't forget about doing it!
Wishing you all the best for the coming Christmas season, and hope that 2018 is a good one for you, and the winds in your life are calmer than what they have been of late!

  14. How Herbal Medicine Cured me completely. Does anyone still doubt natural herbs? I've seen the great importance of natural supplements and the wonderful work they have done in people's lives. I wonder why people still spend their money on surgery, injections and drugs each time they are sick. My Diabetes was totally cured with natural herbs. Earlier this year I was diagnosed type 2 diabetes and my blood sugar was very high, I was recommended to use insulin medication which later have side effect on my health, I decided to stop using insulin medication and was recommended to use Herbal medicine after I read series of testimony of doctor ELINFOH Herbal medicine on the internet, bloggers site and radio stations, I purchased Dr.ELINFOH  herbal medicine for diabetes which he sent to my address through a delivery company and I received the herbal medicine within a couple of weeks  and the doctor directed me how to use the herbal medicine for 21 days. After concluding the herbal medicine I decided to go for a blood test and my blood sugar was detected to be normal, Today I am diabetes free with no side effects. Contact Dr ELINFOH  via  email: drelinfohherbalhome@gmail.com  or Call/Whatsapp +2348110492072 for more information. He said he has herbal remedies for; Hepatitis, Kidney diseases, Heart diseases, Cancers, High blood pressure, Fat reducing, Infertility, Lyme diseases, Herpes Virus, Cold Sores, Shingles, rectum diseases.
