It was beautiful this Saturday morning and so we went to a carboot sale.
Number 2 son bought his mother a Aga shaped teapot to add to her collection:
His mother was delighted and the cat 😸 looks happy too.
The ever growing Teapot collection.
What do you collect?
It is a rather lovely teapot. Does it work?
ReplyDeleteI just collect dust 🙂
Hi Dave, nice to get here before anybody else. I love the tea pot collection and the new Aga one. I don't collect anything but always like to hear about yours. I bet it has grown with odds and ends since I last left a comment.
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting again Rachel. I put the comments moderation on to prevent spam... Nice to hear hear from you again Rachel.
DeleteI collect football programmes and old green-tinted bottles that are in good condition. How kind of Son 2 to give his mam that teapot but how unkind of you to call that lad Son 2! You could have given him a proper name - perhaps a strong manly name like Neil.
ReplyDeleteI managed to find them again. Please see comment below YP.
DeleteThat is just the cutest teapot ever! So detailed. I guess I would have to say books and clocks for me.
ReplyDeleteI have lots of books too.
DeleteDust collectors😊. It does work JayCee. We've got a growing collection of teapots and I know what to buy someone when it's there birthday.
ReplyDelete..their birthday even!
ReplyDeleteHi Yorkshire Pudding and Debby, I some how managed to delete your conments-sorry. I use to collect old bottles too YP. If you look up The Teapottery you will find similar Aga teapots Debby, I am glad you like it.
ReplyDeleteHusband is the collector here - jugs, coins, books and more books, and somewhere there is a horrible collection of African masks, but I try not to think about those. I might have been tempted by the Aga teapot, but only because I want the real thing!
ReplyDeleteYour husband sounds like us the Veg Artist. We have a solid fuel Stanley Mourne range. They're great.
DeleteOooh. Another thing: Cobalt blue. I collect things that are a brilliant cobalt blue. Which is how I came to have a bugling elk gravy boat...it was the right color.
ReplyDeleteWe all have our peculiarities, don't we?
Red and blue are my two favourite colours Debby. Our peculiarities make the world a brighter place.
