Homemade Peri Peri sauce and a photo of my big toe. The sauce cost 6 Euros. Hope it blasts our taste buds.
Two bottles of Sagres bought from a camper van stall at the market. Cold beer is nectar when it's 25 degrees in OCTOBER!
Buddhist statue outside a woman's clothes shop.
An old Art Deco style building for sale and ready to be converted into apartments.
Again the soon to be converted (hopefully) 1940 building.
Loule Gypsy Market. Lots of haggling and we managed to knock them down 15 Euros for a cardigan. Not a good photo at all.
The coach trip lasted a full half day and cost us 22 Euros each. I wasn't that impressed but the wife likes shopping and we got some presents to take back to Hibernia. I could have sorted them out with a five minutes dash around the airport Duty Free.😀
Did you buy yourselves a gypsy at Loulé Gypsy Market? Gypsies can be very useful in the garden and if you are bored at night you can tell them to dance as you bash your tambourine. Better than "Emmerdale" or a political broadcast on behalf of The Tory Party.
ReplyDelete"Well what will you give me"? That's what they usually say.
ReplyDeleteDid you buy any lucky heather?
ReplyDeleteNo JayCee. Not even a rabbits foot.😄
ReplyDeleteGreat photos once again. Shopping must always be a part of the holiday! Good for you for haggling. That was a great discount. And if course they still made a profit.
ReplyDeleteYes they tried to get the money when we walked round again thinking we were not the same shoppers.
DeleteLove to know the old buildings are being retained and modernized. Good luck with that peri peri sauce. Grow some chilies in your polytunnel and you can make your own.
ReplyDeleteI will next year Tigger. I love spicy food.
