Did I show you this photo back in 2022?
I was in Kent at one of my prog rock festivals and someone from the Northsider Towers household sent me a message to my mobile phone, even tent residence, a Whats App message of a new living four legged pal purchase.
Of course they didn't picture Kev grazing grass. They showed me a picture of him residing in my living room.
I remember Kev. Have you still got him? He is a football supporter.
ReplyDeleteYes Rachel. He's still here with his equine lady friends, swine, rabbits, dogs, cats and vegetables and plants. He's quite a character. Still waters run deep. Thanks Rachel.
ReplyDeleteAs I recall it was on October 2nd 2022 that you last blogged about Kev The Pony but I might be mistaken - it could have been October 3rd. My memory is not what it used to be. A "pony" is London slang for £25 but I am sure that Kev is worth far more than that. In the photo Kev is looking round at you saying, "What you lookin' at mate?"
ReplyDeleteI was mot there YP. I was in the garden of England or Kent for short.
DeleteLucky you did not come home to find him curled up on the couch watching television and having a brew.
ReplyDeleteHaving a brew? Do I detect some distant northern England ancestry Debby? Or have you just been reading YP and my blogs? Kev prefers reading English Literature classics like : Black Beauty by Anna Sewell.
DeleteDoes he have a favourite chair?
ReplyDeleteNo JayCee but he likes White Horse whisky at Christmas. It made him cough. Well he is a little hoarse. 😄
ReplyDeleteI-I-I-I-I dig a pony
ReplyDeleteWell, you can celebrate anything you want
Yes, you can celebrate anything you want
Oh!
That American Lancashire band from Liverpool Tasker. John Lennon called it a piece of garbage". He said that about lots of his and The Beatles songs. At least Yoko didn't scream on it like she did on some of the jam sessions with Chuck Berry. I think JL was my favourite Beatle. What about you Tasker?
DeleteHe's slightly bigger than a mouse in the house. Beautiful looking animal but Kev does take up quite a lot of room 🤔
ReplyDeleteHe is and you would stroke Kev and not a mouse Linda. You wouldn't believe the creatures that have been in the humble abode we call 'Northsider Towers'. There's been: dogs and cats, hens , ducks, goats, pigs and even ponies. It like the Beverley Hill Billies.😊
ReplyDeleteNever had a pony inside, we did keep a couple of piglets as a child, from a large litter, which we bottle fed.
ReplyDeleteYes Marlene we have bottle fed lambs and kept runt piglets warm near the stove. My grandmother did the same and she fed the livestock their breakfast before she had her own.
