Do you like the dog cuddly toy?
Here's the brilliant Christian and Prog Rock band that went New Wave : After The Fire with a very prophetic song from 1979:
I saw them many moons ago at Greenbelt Christian Music Festival in Odell in Bedfordshire. I also saw U2 before they had become famous there too!
Really not sure what to make of that - the umbrella on the head is bizarre! At least it got me thinking.
ReplyDeleteHi Mark. I thought the song was appropriate for the way politicians have had one rule for them and one rule for the rest of us. The drummer is a real character isn't he?
ReplyDeleteI like the way the bass player/singer moves. If I were in a prog rock band I would move like that. You would be the crazy fellow on the drums. The Bike Shed would be the lead guitarist. JayCee would be on keyboards and Debby would be in the band just for decoration.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Is that a voodoo doll at the top? Where did I put my needles?
Do you think it would be a good idea to put a deaf person on keyboards? I would sound like Les Dawson!
DeleteLes Dawson was such an accomplished pianist he could play around with bad notes JayCee. He use to play the piano in Parisian brothels I believe. A comic genius and very sadly missed.
DeleteCheck out Lazer Love by After The Fire YP. That's probably my favourite song of theirs.
ReplyDeleteJayCee and The International Bloggers would be a good name for our band. We could be massive in Iceland or Tesco or Asda even?😊
The dog toy effigy was chewed to pieces by acertain dog who appears on here from time to time.
It wouldn't be the first time that Johnson got chewed by a dog. After all, he was in the Bullingdon Club when he was at Oxford.
DeleteYep. I think their most used line was: "Sorry old chap. Just a bit of high spirits!"
DeleteI'm glad that's just a dog toy and was chewed to pieces!
ReplyDeleteJust going to listen to the music. Your choices are always great
Hi Linda. The toy came in a box of dog toys. I'm glad you like my music choice. Can't wait to see a live Rock band again sometime soon. At least we have good old You Tube to look for our favourite songs and bands.
