Time For The Flowers To Put On A Show.

The Shasta Daisies have decided to flower this week.  Our gardens are full of them.  I started off with one I bought at a carboot sale several years ago.  I have propagated them by taking cuttings and by dividing them.  Now we have lots of them and I have sold many and gave them away.

You know the gardeners mathematical solution don't you? "The only way to multiply is to divide!"

Don't our plants give us so much joy and put on a floral spectacle every year?

  2. Thanks Linda. I adore English Cottage Gardens. Disorganised chaos in the herbaceous borders. The flowers warm the soul!

  5. Last year you mentioned putting hydrangea cuttings in water to root. I'd done that with lots of other things, but never hydrangea. My new, free, shrub is now about a foot tall, so Thank You!

    1. 3095 miles! 180 miles more than the distance from your seaside mansion to Boston.

    2. Gosh! North America is a continent in itself. I think there are 200 cities. If you were an American Rock band you could just tour America and maybe Canada.

  12. I mentioned the same song to YP the other day Debby. They are cheap and sometimes cheerful and make flights accessible for every pocket, even me.😊
