A Tractor Sign From Our Front Room.

If you walked to our humble abode you would see some of a myriad of eclectic things we have collected over the years living in Blighty and Ireland.

Here's a tractor metal picture hung up in our front room:

Allis-Chalmers are an American tractor manufacturer.   I thought the sign was appropriate for the weather forecast later this week.

  1. I am married to Mr. Tractor. We have a John Deere and an Oliver. Mr. wants a four wheel drive tractor now. We might end up with an Allis Chalmers before it is done. May we park it in your living room next to the sign?

  2. Number one son owns the sign. I have a Ford 3000 tractor. She's being VERY slowly restored, sadly. Of course Debby you can park it with the other tractor signs and pictures. Henry Fords father came from County Cork.

  4. Thanks JayCee. Me too. The rooms are full of pictures and signs, especially tractors. I haven't been to a vintage tractor show for ages. My tractor is called Anna Ford. I named her after ITN news reader Anna Ford.

  5. I agree with Madam JayCee. It is a great picture. I guess that Mrs Northsider picked it because you are more into cutesy pictures of fluffy rabbits, dancing fairies and frolicking unicorns. Do you like riding on Anna Ford? I guess it takes a while to warm her up.

  6. Thank you kind sir. The picture belongs to number one son. Some how his tractor nostalgia pictures are taking over our Wallace. Not that we mind of course. Anna is a proper lass. She doesn't drink much and it takes very little time to get her going. 😊

  8. Hardly a mansion YP. I wouldn't mind some pictures of Wallace and Gromit. Great northern England characters.

  9. I did check Professor Google to see the correct spelling YP. Not that it matters.

  11. Good to hear Briony. I could never own an antique shop because I only buy what I like and then I wouldn't want to sell anything.
