Christmas Starts Earlier Every Year In The Shops.

It's the 24th of September and I went shopping today.  Look what I found already:

I know.  We have bought most of our Christmas 🎄 presents already have you?

What you eating for Christmas Dinner?  One year we had curry.  This year me thinks it will be steak and an all day buffet again.  Merry Christmas 🤶.

  1. Oh no. It is far too early to start all that Christmas hype.
We shall be on our own on Christmas Day so we may end up with a Sainsbury's duck in plum sauce with roasties. Not too much faffing.

  2. We always start Christmas shopping in the January sales JayCee. Christmas wrapping paper and Christmas wrapping paper is for nothing. Oh for a Sainsburys. I think they are up in the North with NAsda and Morrissons.

  4. As always we will be having roasted turkey with all the traditional trimmings - unless we end up at our son's house in London where we will be eating a vegan Christmas dinner.

  5. I think Poultry was great years ago with big family gatherings YP. Everybody could have some. I prefer an all day help yourself buffet both hot and cold and preferably with some hot and spicy food. I don't think anything beats a good steak cooked very well done. I do love lots of vegetables too. Thanks.

  6. It will be a full turkey dinner - so I can have three days off cooking afterwards. Nothing like Christmas Dinner leftovers!

  8. We treat our dogs and cats with the meat leftovers and the smallholding livestock get the vegetable peelings and any leftover vegetables. Everybody gets a Christmas Dinner.

  11. You should make some money from those summer tourists Linda. Christmas is not that far away. Is it 12 weeks? Or is it 11?
