I spotted Irish pizza 🍕 for sale in Killarney on Saturday:
-Black Pudding, Bacon, Sausage, Mushrooms, Onions -
I suppose you could add Guinness?
Do you remember when we made our own India pizza with a curry paste topping?
We once sampled Bolognese pizza in an Italian restaurant in the Algarve.
Suppose you could make your own country or regional pizza? What about a full English pizza with eggs, bacon, sausage and beans? Or a Welsh pizza topped with leeks or a Scottish pizza topped with Haggis?
Do you have your very own pizza recipe?
Ooh... we could have a Manx pizza with a spuds and herring topping!
ReplyDeleteI bet the Manx cats would love the herring topping JayCee.
ReplyDeleteA quick supper around here, when we are busy is a tortilla shell spread with refried beans, topped with a layer of salsa, and shredded cheddar. Microwave it until the cheese is melty, then top with a dollop of sour cream, black olives, and jalapenos.
ReplyDeleteSounds good Debby. I love Heinz baked beans 😋.
ReplyDeleteI've had kimchi pizza in Seoul. 🤔 F
ReplyDeleteSounds good Tigger. What was Seoul like?
DeleteSeoul is very Korean. Perhaps unremarkably.
DeleteYou have certainly travelled Tigger.
DeleteHere it would be gets, oregano and extra spicy fried beef, called pastourma. Hard on the digestion . I prefer plain old margarita, tomato and cheese
ReplyDeleteThat sounds good also LA. I love spicy food but there's nothing wrong with a Margarita.
ReplyDeleteA local place here does indeed to a bacon and egg breakfast pizza with optional tomatoes and mushrooms
ReplyDeleteSounds great 50 and counting. Anew take on a full English or Irish breakfast. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWhy would we have pizza when we can have Yorkshire Pudding?
ReplyDeleteTrue. Aunt Bessie's Yorkshire Pudding Pizza?
ReplyDelete**** Aunt Bessie! She was invented by marketing men. She never existed and her puddings are ****!
DeleteBut they are made in Hull and they sold them to Butlins holiday camps. Frozen Yorkshire Pudding is just the ticket when you spend a week in Filey. I will take your word for it YP. There is a lot to be said for homemade Yorkshire Puddings.
