Bath Pillow.

We went shopping in Aldi on Friday and I had my usual saunter along the middle aisles.

I noticed they had BATH PILLOWS  for sale!  I always thought baths were for storing coal in.  You won't be buying any this year Dave. It's 35 Euros for a 40KG bag at the moment.

I know some people like a deep soak but do they need a pillow?  I'm more of a shower person.  I use them every day if I stay at a hotel.

I once knew a lady who fell asleep reading a library book in the bath and dropped it in the water.

Perhaps the bath pillow is a good idea?  What do you think?

  1. Ummm... I thought baths were for washing and beds were for sleeping?
I only ever shower anyway. Our bath seems to be just for collecting dust and cobwebs.
When I was a kid, we only had a bath once a week on Sundays. There was only enough hot water for one bathful so Dad went first, followed by us three kids all in together before the water got too cold. Can't remember when Mum bathed. Perhaps she got a sneaky tubful of hot water when we were all out at school during the week.

    1. I am not a bath person. Showers are a lot less hassle. Plus, no pillows needed.

    2. Thanks JayCee. Baths are good for washing blankets and eiderdowns. Spiders seem to like them when there is no water in them.

  2. Bath pillows are a waste of this poor Earth's resources. You could just roll up a towel and use that instead.

  3. I think you wash in your own dirt when you have a bath. I vote for showers any day. Aldi should sell your rolled up towels YP.

  5. A bath or a shower is a means to an end, getting washed. I have never lingered in a bath and the idea of a bath and a glass of wine and a book is anathema to me. I have a shower in this house, the first house I have ever lived in with a shower. I use it and not the bath but am in and out in a few minutes. Actually a bath pillow sounds disgusting to me.

  6. I am an in an and out shower person Rachel. I love power showers. A shower refreshes you and wakes you up. Especially on a camping trip. Thanks.

  7. I remember bath pillows being a 'thing' in the 70s. My sister had one for a while. I like a nice soak a few times a year, but it's a shower the rest of the time.

  8. I haven't had a bath for years but I quite like the idea of a pillow for the shower. Your rotating globe thinks I am in Weston-Super-Mare. That's reassuring.

    1. I find baths boring. Unless your sharing the bath and having a drink of wine. Oh to be young again. 😊

  9. Thanks the veg artist. A good long soak can be good. Showers are quick and wake you up.
