Barleys Piglets Progress.

No not the name of a English Prog Rock band.  I thought would give you good people a progress report on Barley the Gloucester Old Spots piglets:

Aren't they beautiful?

We weaned them and put them in a different part of their animal housing a few weeks ago.

Barley did not bother one bit.  I think seven Bonhams biting her teats was more than enough and now she stands up on her two legs on top of the gate grunting for food.

She's quite a character and so are her piglets.

  1. We love it when the piglets run across a paddock with their ears flapping up and down. Piglets are so comical and so endearing.

  3. They are very endearing Tigger and characters like people. They wean so easily. They also expect to be fed at the same time every day.

    1. They would clear your Mares Tail GZ. They should be used to clear overgrown allotments and scrub.

  7. Thanks for the update. The Northsider family did a great job of raising the piggies to this point. Which was the one that went wee-wee-wee all the way home?

  13. They are probably the easiest pigs we have had to grow so well. It must be their breeding. Barley seems content and free from her piglets.
