Funny. And fully I've never seen it before.
ReplyDeleteSuch a clever man and so funny. I wish he would return to our Saturday evening screens. The Grumbleweeds were another favourite. I saw them live a few times in Blackpool and Scarborough. Everybody forgot their troubles and laughed.
ReplyDeleteAt 75 Russ Abbott is still very much alive. I wonder why he left the spotlight so long ago. He was a really big star. That was a good sketch - very funny.
ReplyDeleteYes YP he was born in Chester and now lives in Portugal, lucky man. I remember him in the Black Abbott show and they always played one of the piers in Blackpool every summer season. A very funny man and comic genius.
